in your congregation, did you ever have macho-wannabes on the microphones, strutting up and down the aisles handling the mikes as though they were aka assault rifles?.
we had a few tossers like this.
in fact, i might even have been one of them.... jonty

we all have to be careful about how much information we give out over the net,,it is wise and prudent in some areas,, but what about age???.
now i know many women don't like to admit they are over 29 what do you think is the percentage of correct profiles in reguards to age??.
this is private information and i don't want this to be a prying type of thread just reasonable discussion.
Nah, my age is correct, but I am much younger than I look (see my pic)

dear friends, .
i have a situation that just occured and i'm not sure how to handle it.
perhaps the experience of this board can be of assistance.. about an hour ago i intercepted my sisters e-mail address.
Isn't all this even more evidence of the loveless, jaundice-ridden bile that the JW's substitute for compassion? This is exactly the kind of behaviour that the WTBTS are trying to extract from its loyal, obedient, mindless adherents, and yet, paradoxically, they are able to evade corporate responsibility by claiming it is a matter of personal conscience!
"by their fruits you will recognise them.." Indeed!

Ok, here is what I have tried to do during the course of this reply.
Boo hoo - no pics! Same as before.
It seems I am only offered 2 options:
And that's it! Am I snookered?

Oh, it's ok - I can see them now. Still no luck with attatching pics though. Pity, I've got some corkers here!

Thanks, but when I click on the paperclip symbol (which brings up the window showing my filestore of pics), I check on the pics I want to attatch, but it does not say "attach selected files" anywhere. Only "delete selected file". Am I missing something?
Oh, and since this evening, I can only see my new topics and their replies, if I click on my own profile and look at my own Topic History. Am I doing something wrong?

doodle-v's thread regarding our own ypa questions got me thinking about this.
recall when we were past the "bloom of youth", and we could start the dating process (with only the possibility of marriage in mind, of course).
i was reminded again and again to look for that brother who possessed "spiritual qualities", ie, who could take the lead, had the goal of becoming a pioneer, or already was a pioneeer, etc.
My ideal marriage partner? How about this modestly attired young sister, with the current yeartext boldly emblazoned on her wholesome aparrel?
Sorry - no pic in last posting
